A New Stage in Anti-Corruption: Weekly Field Analysis and Critical Review
On May 13, an important meeting took place at the General Prosecutor's Office — an extended session of the National Anti-Corruption Council. The meeting focused on the implementation of tasks assigned by the President and outlined new approaches in combating corruption across the country.

According to official information provided by the Anti-Corruption Agency, the session reviewed in detail the “roadmaps” developed by all regions based on the “Andijan experience.” These documents aim to eliminate petty corruption, create a consistent zero-tolerance environment, and reduce risks through systematic analysis.

Representatives of various government agencies and law enforcement bodies took part in the extended meeting. The event was organized in a focused and results-driven manner.

One Region per Week — One Deep Analysis

Regional working groups were tasked with visiting areas of high corruption risk every week, identifying issues, analyzing conditions, and taking concrete measures. The emphasis was placed on solving problems in real life, not just on paper.

Republican Working Group — Monitoring and Analysis Hub

The members of the republican working group will monitor data from the regions, assess the quality of implementation, and hold weekly critical discussions. This approach aims to ensure a systematic and coordinated effort.

The meeting was held in video conference format, with provinces, districts, and prosecutor’s offices joining remotely. This reflects a strong intent to deliver decisions from the central level down to local administrations and increase accountability among officials at all levels.

Key Topics — Clear Instructions

At the end of the session, specific instructions were given to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of measures in the roadmaps and to establish effective work mechanisms for the regional groups. Additionally, the task was set to prepare proposals aimed at eliminating corruption factors.

Zamin.uz will continue monitoring the implementation of these initiatives. Tangible results in each region will be the true measure of reform. What do you think — can weekly reviews bring real change?
