The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set new values for foreign currencies against the soum (UZS), effective from March 11, 2026. According to the updated data, various fluctuations are observed in the exchange rates of major foreign currencies.
The US dollar rate has decreased significantly to 12,158.13 UZS (a drop of 33.12 UZS). Similarly, the Russian ruble slightly declined to 153.98 UZS (a drop of 0.22 UZS), and the Japanese yen settled at 77.11 UZS.
In contrast, the value of the European euro rose to 14,166.65 UZS (an increase of 55.28 UZS). The British pound sterling also became significantly more expensive, being set at 16,362.41 UZS. The Swiss franc (15,675.77 UZS) and the Chinese yuan (1,769.05 UZS) were also among the currencies that increased in value.
