Today, Quran completions will be held in mosques

Today, on the evening of March 16 – in all 1765 mosques across the country, where the Quran has been recited beautifully throughout the month of Ramadan, Quran completions (hatm) will take place. This was reported by the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.
According to the Board, across Uzbekistan, in mosques where Quran completions are held, our citizens simultaneously raise their hands in prayer after the hatm.
“Scholars emphasize that a prayer made after completing the Quran is not rejected. Because the Quran is the word of Allah, and completing its full recitation is a great act of worship. Today is a suitable time to supplicate for success in this world and the Hereafter. It is narrated from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): ‘When the Quran is completed, there is a prayer that will be answered.’ Therefore, collective prayers, especially during the Night of Qadr, and prayers after hatm, inshallah, will be accepted,” the religious board reported.
The start time of Tarawih prayers in the Fergana Valley is set at 20:20. In the valley and western regions of Uzbekistan, prayers will continue until 21:00. In Tashkent region and the capital, Tarawih begins at 20:30.
This year’s hatms are not only spiritual education but also an opportunity for all our citizens to supplicate for a blessed and complete life.
