In Uzbekistan, qualitatively new changes have started in the system of public administration. By government decision, the concept “Further improvement of the internal control system in republican and local executive bodies for 2025–2027” was approved, reported the Huquqiy axborot channel. This concept defines the priority directions, specific tasks, and stages of development of the internal control system in the country.
According to the new concept, several directions and goals have been defined for the development of the internal control system. In particular, the main tasks include: formation of a holistic and complete control environment, implementation of effective mechanisms for managing risks and hazards, increasing the effectiveness of control processes, expanding information and communication opportunities, and strengthening accountability through systematic monitoring.
The following practical mechanisms will be implemented to achieve these goals:
- Adaptation of the regulatory and legal framework for the organization and improvement of the internal control system to modern requirements,
- Use of modern technologies and approaches in implementing internal control at all levels,
- Strengthening the system of training, retraining, and providing modern knowledge for staff working in government bodies.
As experts note, the adoption of the new concept will further strengthen the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in government bodies. The improvement of the internal control system will help prevent corruption and other negative phenomena, as well as improve executive discipline.
New reforms and procedures are also significant because they are aimed at increasing transparency and efficiency in public administration and strengthening citizens’ trust. Now the public is keenly observing how this concept will be implemented in life and what real results it will bring. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
