
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has approved the minimum passing scores for students transferring from private or foreign universities to public universities for the 2025/2026 academic year, reported Kursiv.
The highest threshold was set for the law program — at least 165 points are required for transfer into a state university. Last year, the requirement was 140 points.
The lowest thresholds, ranging from 60 to 70 points, apply to veterinary and agricultural sciences.
• Social sciences and business programs require a minimum of 105 points.
• Education, languages, environment, mathematics, statistics, and social protection programs require 94 points.
• Natural sciences such as physics and biology require at least 80 points for transfer.
