Temperatures in Uzbekistan may climb up to 44 °C
In the first half of the work week, relatively stable and somewhat hot weather is expected across our country. According to UzHydromet, very hot weather conditions will dominate in Uzbekistan until Saturday.

From July 13 to 16 the daytime temperature in many regions will be around +36…+39 °C, and in some places — especially in the south and desert areas — it may rise to +40…+42 °C.

A new heat wave is expected in the second half of the week — from July 17. During these days the thermometer reading in all regions of the country, including northern, southern and desert zones, may reach +44 °C.

Short‑term rain expected only in mountains

The weather will generally be dry and clear. Precipitation is not expected in most parts of the republic. Only on July 14–16 might brief showers occur in some elevated mountainous areas.

Wind may intensify and dust storms possible

Accompanied by hot and dry weather, wind speeds in some areas may increase to 13–18 m/s, bringing dust winds and reducing air transparency.

Hot weather is also expected in the capital Tashkent

Tashkent will also experience significant heat. From July 14 to 16 nighttime temperatures will stay around +22…+24 °C, while daytime temperatures may reach +37…+39 °C.

From July 17 onward, nights will warm to +25…+27 °C, with daytime rising to +40…+42 °C. The weather will be slightly cloudy but precipitation is not expected.

Authorities advise caution

Relevant bodies urge the public to be cautious on hot days: stay in shaded areas, drink sufficient fluids, and if possible avoid direct sunlight. This is especially important for elderly individuals, children, and people with cardiovascular conditions. Observing medical advice and paying careful attention to health is essential.
