The exchange rate of the dollar against the so‘m experienced certain fluctuations during the week. Notably, there was a sharp increase in the first half of the week:
Monday: +49.17 UZS
Tuesday: +70.00 UZS
Wednesday: +35.36 UZS
This upward trend on those days may be related to dynamics in international markets, changes in import-export operations, and shifts in domestic demand.
In the second half of the week, a decline in the rate was recorded:
Thursday: −58.77 UZS
Friday: −18.98 UZS
As a result, the overall weekly change in the US dollar rate was negative for the national currency, ending with a strengthening of 76.78 UZS.
The Central Bank forms exchange rates based on market mechanisms and strives to maintain stability in economic processes.
