In 2025, opportunities for school graduates to enter higher education institutions have significantly improved. According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, this year 619 graduates scored the highest exam score - 189, which is considered a great achievement compared to previous years.
84.2% of the state grant quota, that is, 29,881 graduates of this year, were allocated. It was also noted that the enrollment of school graduates in higher educational institutions has increased by 3.5% over the past three years. This is the result of positive changes in the education system and an improvement in the level of training of graduates.
This year, 75% of the 438,869 graduates took an active part in the tests. Of these, 25.8%, or 113,176 applicants, successfully entered state higher educational institutions. This indicator testifies to the improvement in the quality of education and the level of knowledge of applicants in the country.
By region, the highest rates of admission were noted in Navoi region - 48.4%, Bukhara region - 38.2% and Jizzakh region - 32.4%. At the same time, the highest average score for admission to higher education reached 96 points in the Bukhara region. This indicates the high level of training of graduates in local educational institutions.
At the same time, 41.29% of the 614,768 applicants who took the exam did not score the minimum passing score - 56.7 points. This indicates that there are still difficulties and high competition in the process of entering higher education.
