Uzbekistan's Experience Presented to CIS

The initiative to expand the organizational labor migration experience of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to CIS countries has been proposed. This suggestion was put forward by the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova.

According to her, CIS member states could sign mutual agreements to implement this initiative. Data indicates that starting from early 2025, 106,000 Uzbek workers have been sent to Russia through organized recruitment.

Out of these, 50,000 are employed in major Russian companies. By the end of last year, the number of workers sent from Uzbekistan to Russia through organized recruitment increased 4.2 times compared to 2023.

At the same time, the number of Uzbeks finding jobs independently in Russia nearly halved in one year, totaling 700,000.
