Changeable cloudiness, as well as rain and snow in certain regions, is expected in Uzbekistan on December 5, according to the Hydrometeorological Service Center (Uzhydromet). During the night, severe cold weather is forecast in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm regions, with temperatures dropping to as low as –7 degrees Celsius.
During the day, temperatures in these areas will rise to between +3 and +8 degrees Celsius. In Tashkent, light rain is expected in the morning, with temperatures ranging from +2 to +4 degrees Celsius.
No precipitation is expected during the day, and the temperature will reach between +9 and +11 degrees Celsius. Rain and snow are forecast in the foothill and mountainous areas of the country.
In these regions, nighttime and daytime temperatures are expected to range from –2 to +3 degrees Celsius. In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, nighttime temperatures will drop to between 0 and +5 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures are expected to rise to as high as +13 degrees Celsius.
