Seagulls head coach Fabian Hurzeler was unhappy with the result and stressed that his team wanted the win more and played well. He said Brighton slowed down a bit late on and conceded.
“Unfortunately, we dropped off a little at the end and conceded. Overall, we deserved to win. There are still things we need to work on, especially making better use of the chances we created — in the second half we created too many opportunities and didn’t take them properly,” BBC Sport quotes the coach as saying.
After Matchday 22, Brighton sit 12th in the table, while Bournemouth are in 15th place.
