Traffic Temporarily Halted at Kamchik Pass


The road through the Kamchik Pass has been closed since 2:30 AM due to heavy snowfall and the risk of avalanches, the press service of the Main Directorate of Traffic Safety reported. Vehicle traffic has been halted until weather conditions improve.

It was noted that additional information regarding the reopening of the road will be provided later. The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that large-scale preventive and technical measures are being carried out to ensure safety on the Kamchik Pass.
