An Inclusive Center to Open in Tashkent in 2026

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, an Inclusive Center will begin operating in Tashkent under the National Agency for Social Protection. Podrobno.uz reports this. At the same time, multifunctional inclusive schools will be established in other regions of the country on the basis of special schools and boarding schools. In these educational institutions, children will be able to study in adapted classes, develop academic and social skills, work according to individual learning plans, and also attend additional corrective and vocational sessions. From January 1, 2027, the Inclusive Center will introduce a professional certification system aimed at assessing teachers’ knowledge and practical skills in the field of inclusive education. We recall that in October of this year, at the opening of UNESCO’s 43rd session, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech and put forward a number of initiatives defining new priority areas of humanitarian cooperation.
