In the privatization process of MobiUz (Universal Mobile Systems), three investors who offered the highest price and the most favorable terms were granted additional time to review their applications. The deal concerns transferring the company’s 100% state stake to the private sector. The project is currently at the final stage of the international bidding process.
Earlier, 10 foreign investors expressed interest in the purchase. After the initial screening, 7 companies advanced to the final stage, and 6 bidders submitted binding price offers.
The process is being carried out with the participation of international advisers such as Rothschild & Co, KPMG, and Deloitte. All privatization work has been approved by the State Privatization Commission.
