For November 2025, the average cost of cooking 1 kilogram of plov across Uzbekistan’s regions was calculated. The estimates were based on prices of key food products in the regions.
According to the data, the cheapest plov was recorded in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, where the cost of cooking 1 kilogram of plov amounted to 98,100 soums. In Syrdarya Region, the figure was 104,100 soums, and in Andijan Region it was 105,800 soums.
The highest figures were observed in Tashkent city and Fergana Region. In particular, the cost of cooking 1 kilogram of plov was 116,100 soums in Tashkent and 115,200 soums in Fergana Region.
It is noted that these numbers do not represent the price of ready-made plov sold in the regions. The calculations also include cooking and other service costs.
