Marca journalist Oscar Badallo assessed the performances of attacking midfielder Arsen Zakharyan, who is playing for Real Sociedad in 2025. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.
According to the expert, early in the year Zakharyan was frequently sidelined due to injuries and illness, which seriously affected the player’s form and consistency. While Badallo admits Zakharyan may be a talented footballer, he stressed that his style does not fit Sociedad’s football and called the transfer a mistake for him personally.
As a reminder, Arsen Zakharyan moved to Real Sociedad from Moscow’s Dynamo in 2023 and signed a contract with the Spanish club. This season, the 22-year-old midfielder has made 14 appearances across all competitions and scored 1 goal.
After Matchday 17 of La Liga, Real Sociedad sit 16th in the standings with 17 points.
