Colombian President Gustavo Petro proposed moving the UN headquarters from New York. This happened after his US visa was revoked.

The President emphasized that the heads of state participating in the UN General Assembly should have the right to full immunity. However, the cancellation of his visa and the denial of permission to visit the Palestinian government demonstrated the US's non-compliance with international law.

"The United Nations headquarters cannot remain in New York," the Colombian president wrote on his X social network. According to reports, Petro's visa was revoked for participating in a pro-Palestinian demonstration in New York.
