Iran strengthens ties with Uzbekistan
According to The Jerusalem Post, Tehran is stepping up its foreign policy activity and expanding diplomatic relations with other nations. In this context, Uzbekistan and Iran have reached an agreement to expand cooperation in the mining industry.

This agreement resulted from the visit of a delegation led by Iran's Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade Mohammad Atabak to Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the parties also discussed investment opportunities in the sector.

The visit of the Iranian delegation to Tashkent took place on November 9. According to the publication, Tehran is focusing on diplomacy amid rising tensions with Israel and the potential resumption of negotiations with the United States.

Additionally, Iranian and Russian ambassadors discussed elections in Iraq, and Iran's Deputy Minister met with the UAE President's advisor for further talks.
