Drug That Could Enable 150-Year Lifespan

Advanced research on longevity technologies is being conducted in China. The local laboratory, Lonvi Biosciences, has announced major achievements in the development of anti-aging pills.

The main component of this drug is procyanidin C1 (PCC1), a substance derived from grape seed extract. Research conducted by scientists from Shanghai has laid the foundation for this project.

They found that the use of PCC1 increased the lifespan of mice by 64.2% after the therapy began. This compound acts as a senolytic, selectively eliminating "zombie cells" that accumulate in the body and cause damage to healthy tissues.

Lonvi Biosciences Technical Director Liu Qinghua expressed confidence in the future of their work. “Living 150 years is an entirely practical goal.

In the coming years, this could become a reality,” he said in an interview with *The New York Times*. According to the company's projections, regular consumption of these pills, combined with a healthy lifestyle and quality medical services, can initially ensure human life expectancy exceeds 100 years and later reach up to 120 years.

Interest in longevity issues is also growing at the state level. Recently, there were reports of a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussing the possibilities of extending human life to 150 years.

This conversation was recorded on video; however, Chinese state television later demanded its deletion, sparking additional public interest. One of the most promising directions in longevity research is studying genes related to insulin signaling pathways.

Scientists discovered that a single mutation in the gene of the roundworm *Caenorhabditis elegans* could double its lifespan. Similar genes are present in humans, opening up new therapeutic approaches to slow down aging.

Once these pills pass all necessary trials and receive the required certifications, they could also be registered in Uzbekistan. To achieve this, the company will need to fulfill a series of procedures in order to sell its pharmaceutical products in the country.

According to recent trends, almost all medical advancements achieved abroad are being introduced into Uzbekistan rapidly. Uzbek doctors closely monitor medical advancements and strive to implement new technologies as quickly as possible.
