Baltika defeats Spartak despite shortages

The Baltika team secured a 1–0 victory over Spartak during the Round 17 match held in Kaliningrad. The only goal for the home team was scored by Titkov following an attack after a throw-in.

Despite being reduced to ten players due to Manelov receiving a red card, they managed to maintain their lead. Baltika played actively from the start, dominating ball possession and creating dangerous opportunities near Spartak's goal.

In the 30th minute, Manelov from the home team was shown a straight red card, leaving the team with one player down. Nevertheless, Spartak failed to capitalize on their numerical advantage by converting it into goals.

In the 61st minute, the team from Kaliningrad unexpectedly opened the scoring by taking advantage of a set piece. Until the end of the match, Spartak created several dangerous chances, but Baltika’s goalkeeper, Borisko, demonstrated reliable performance, and the discipline of the hosts ensured the score remained unchanged.
