Zelenskyy arrives in Saudi Arabia for negotiations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Saudi Arabia on April 24. The head of state is scheduled to hold talks in Riyadh with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. This marks Zelensky's second trip to the country in recent weeks. Dw.com reports on the visit.
The Ukrainian leader announced on his Telegram channel that the primary objective of the visit is to further develop agreements in the fields of security, energy, and infrastructure. Previously, during a meeting held on March 26, the parties agreed to cooperate in the defense sector. Zelensky emphasized that he highly values the meaningful relations between the two nations.
Furthermore, Ukraine has signed agreements with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates regarding the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the creation of anti-drone systems. These projects are intended to be implemented through contracts involving Ukraine's private and public sectors.
Against the backdrop of a complex regional situation, Kyiv is strengthening its ties with Gulf nations. In particular, Ukraine has expressed readiness to share its experience in neutralizing drones and to send military experts to assist in repelling attacks in the Middle East region.
