On April 23, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the "Pavilion" shopping complex established in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. This project specializes in the trade of construction materials, with a total value of $25 million. The complex occupies an area of 4.6 hectares and features a parking facility for 1,000 vehicles. Spot.uz reports on the development.

The three-story main building houses 500 retail outlets with a total area of 42,000 square meters. The project was implemented by the "Oil Gaz Equipment" company and offers a wide range of products necessary for construction and renovation. To ensure transparency in trade, all information regarding goods and their prices will be integrated into a unified electronic platform.

The complex has the capacity to serve up to 3 million customers annually and will create 2,000 new jobs. Annual tax revenues are projected at 32.3 billion soums. To ensure security, 500 surveillance cameras have been installed, while electricity is supplied via solar panels with a capacity of 1.2 MW.

The Head of State emphasized that the complex should establish new quality and service standards in the construction materials sector. Additionally, instructions were given to increase the number of such specialized centers around Tashkent. Mirziyoyev noted the rising living standards of the population and stressed the necessity of supporting local manufacturers and establishing proper logistics within such facilities.
