BYD unveils 1,306-horsepower Yangwang U7 sedan in Beijing

At the international auto show being held in Beijing, the premium brand "Yangwang," part of BYD, presented its updated models. One of the main novelties of the exhibition was the "Yangwang U8L" extended SUV. The wheelbase of this model has been increased by 200 mm, reaching 3250 mm. The total length of the vehicle is 5400 mm. Exterior changes include body-colored wheel arches and special 23-inch wheels. The "Yangwang U8L" model is equipped with a four-electric motor system producing 1197 horsepower and 1280 Nm of torque. Although the total weight of the vehicle has increased to 4210 kg, its dynamic performance indicators have been maintained at a high level. The "Yangwang U7" sedan was also showcased at the exhibition. This electric vehicle boasts 1306 horsepower and can travel a distance of 800 km on a single charge. The car's interior features a 12.8-inch curved central screen and separate displays for passengers.
The most sensational premiere of the event was the "Yangwang U9 Xtreme" electric hypercar. This model will be produced in only 30 units. Its total power exceeds 3000 horsepower, and each wheel has an independent control system. The electronics analyze the road surface more than 100 times per second to distribute traction. Such technological solutions are expected to usher in a new era for the brand in the fields of luxury and high technology.
