The British company Morgan has officially unveiled the Supersport 400 roadster, considered its most powerful production model. The new vehicle features the highest technical specifications in the brand's history, differing significantly from previous versions.
Under the hood, the car is equipped with a 3.0-liter BMW turbocharged engine producing 402 horsepower. This figure is 67 horsepower more than the base model. While the engine's torque remains at 500 Nm, the increase in power allows the roadster to reach 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. The car's top speed is 290 kilometers per hour, and it is equipped exclusively with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Engineers managed to increase the power while keeping the vehicle's weight unchanged—the sports car weighs 1,170 kilograms. Additionally, the Supersport 400 model is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, and an updated suspension system.
The new roadster is offered to buyers with two roof options—hardtop and soft-top versions. In the European market, the starting price for this sports car has been set at 138,958 euros.
