Tesla has officially registered a voice assistant function powered by generative artificial intelligence in China.
According to Shanghai data, this technology has been included among 158 artificial intelligence applications approved by the Cyberspace Administration of China.
This move by Tesla aims to strengthen its position in the competitive Chinese automotive market, as local manufacturers have already introduced AI systems into their vehicles.
Previously, reports emerged that the company planned to integrate DeepSeek and ByteDance's Doubao AI systems into its models to enhance its standing in the Chinese market.
This strategy is focused on making Tesla vehicles more convenient and appealing to local consumers.
