Banks predict credit risks in advance

From January 29, 2026, commercial banks will be required to provide customers with advance information about possible risks that may arise in the process of obtaining a loan. In addition, the requirement will be established to develop internal procedures for changing loan terms for customers who encounter difficulties in making payments. Banks will be prohibited from offering loans in an amount exceeding that requested by the customer, using social payments to repay debt, and demanding repayment before the specified deadline. Furthermore, pre-filling loan application forms and automatically setting parameters without the customer's consent will be restricted. At the same time, banks will be required to provide detailed explanations about the deposit guarantee system, types and amounts of guarantees, as well as procedures and terms for making payments.
