
During the first nine months of 2025, the production volume in Uzbekistan's special economic zones (SEZ) reached 45.1 trillion soums, according to data from the State Statistics Committee.
In the same period of 2024, the production volume exceeded 31.6 trillion soums. As of October of this year, enterprises within the SEZs exported products worth $5.4 million, while imports amounted to $14.3 million.
Currently, more than 1,000 participants are operating within these clusters. From January to September, the total pre-tax profit of SEZ participants exceeded 2.9 trillion soums.
Meanwhile, production volumes in small industrial zones amounted to 13.4 trillion soums, compared to 10.7 trillion soums in the previous year. A total of over 3,200 enterprises are included in these smaller zones.
The export and import volumes in these zones were $2.2 million each, respectively. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
