Fabio Cannavaro is ready to trial new players for the Uzbekistan national team in January. Under his leadership, the team will hold fresh assessments to value new names and evaluate their potential.
According to Championat.asia editor-in-chief Narzulla Saydullayev, OKMK representative Aziz Kholmurodov has been invited to the Uzbekistan national team’s January camp. Oybek Bozorov, who had been out of the squad for several years but has returned with new qualities, has also been called up for the new camp. As the result of years of work, the player is ready to fight to show himself even better.
In addition, newly called-up «Navbahor» player Kuvondiq Ro‘ziyev and «Neftchi» leader Ikrom Aliboyev have also caught Fabio Cannavaro’s attention. They have been invited to take part in the camp in Doha. There is strong hope regarding their chances of making the national team and the bright pathways opening up for young players.
As a reminder, the Uzbekistan national team led by Fabio Cannavaro will hold a training camp in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from 22 January to 2 February. The camp is organized to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, shape a renewed squad with worthy players, and give opportunities to young footballers.
