According to the data provided by the National Statistics Committee, the costs of preparing one kilogram of plov in December 2025 were calculated by region. The calculation results show that the prices of products vary across the regions of the country.
In particular, the cost of preparing 1 kg of plov in the Republic of Karakalpakstan amounted to 97,727 soums, while in the Andijan region this figure was 105,336 soums, and in the Bukhara region - 107,175 soums.
The cost of plov in Jizzakh region is 109,017 soums, in Kashkadarya region 111,093 soums, in Navoi region 109,169 soums, in Namangan region 108,030 soums. In Samarkand region, this figure was 112,222 soums, in Surkhandarya region 111,002 soums, and in Syrdarya region 103,696 soums.
It was also calculated that 111,857 soums will be spent on preparing one kilogram of plov in the Tashkent region, 114,890 soums in the Fergana region, and 106,527 soums in the Khorezm region. The highest figure was in Tashkent, where the cost of 1 kg of plov reached 115,491 soums.
According to experts' calculations, the following products are required to prepare one kilogram of plov:
- sunflower oil - 0.3 liters;
- onions - 300 grams;
- beef - 700 grams;
- carrots - 1 kilogram;
- rice - 1 kilogram;
- chickpeas - 100 grams;
- cumin - 10 grams;
- table salt - 20 grams.
It is noted that the figures provided do not mean the price of ready-made plov sold in the regions. This amount was calculated only based on the cost of the products, and the cost of preparing plov and other services was not included here.
