The case of a couple in Asaka district who offered a 13-year-old neighbor girl sexual intercourse for money will be reviewed in court under the investigative procedure. The Prosecutor General's Office issued an official statement on the case.

It was reported that the Prosecutor General's Office has studied the legality of the court decisions issued in the administrative case. Based on the results of the study, the Prosecutor General's Office has filed a protest under the investigative procedure against the decisions of the Asaka District Court for Criminal Cases of December 10, 2024 and the Andijan Regional Court of Appeal of December 23, 2024.

According to the decision of the Asaka District Criminal Court, on November 9, 2024, in the Yuksalish neighborhood of Asaka district, a man asked a minor neighbor girl to satisfy his sexual needs. He offered her 100 thousand soums for this.

The man's wife, born in 1992, asked a 13-year-old neighbor girl to satisfy her husband's sexual needs and told her to give her 50 thousand soums for this. The girl was afraid of their actions and ran away from home.

By the court's decision, the couple was found guilty of committing the crime of sexual misconduct, and the man was sentenced to 5 days of administrative arrest, and his wife was fined twice the basic amount, that is, 750 thousand soums.

The man was dissatisfied with the court's decision and appealed to the regional court, which upheld the initial decision.
