On July 19, an unforgettable event took place in the airline’s history: one of the passengers went into premature labor during the flight, and the entire flight crew, as well as two doctors who happened to be on board, displayed true bravery and professional skill.

In this unexpected situation, the two doctors – Dilbar Sheripbayeva and Dilshod Nortojiev – gave their full professional assistance. Together with the experienced flight attendants and crew members, they successfully managed the delivery process on board. The crew commander, Mikhail Ajgirevich, correctly assessed the situation and made the emergency decision to land the aircraft at Urgench airport.

A new chapter of life began right there – in Urgench. The doctors welcomed the mother and newborn upon landing and quickly transferred them to a modern clinic. For the family, this unexpected but happy birth story ended well thanks to the coordinated actions of the professionals and the entire HY282 crew.
