100 million in aid provided to fire victims in Kashkadarya

A tragic incident occurred following a terrible fire in the Kukdala district of Kashkadarya region. An explosion at a gas filling station took the lives of four people. This severe event saddened not only the local population but also the entire public.

According to the press service of the local government, cash compensation in the amount of 100 million soums was paid to each family of the deceased citizens. The financial aid was delivered immediately, that is, handed over personally to the families of the deceased.

It was also reported that citizens injured in this tragedy and currently undergoing treatment in hospitals were granted financial aid in the amount of 50 million soums each. These funds were paid considering their condition, treatment process, and needs.

The Kukdala district administration emphasized that until the full recovery of the injured, they will be provided with all medical assistance, diagnostics, and medicines by the state. The administration and local healthcare institutions have taken control of this process.

Let us remind that on July 16 at 14:40 a fire was reported at the gas filling station. The rescue service acted very quickly, and at 14:45, four squads arrived at the scene. By 15:35, they had managed to completely extinguish the fire.

However, before the fire started, a fuel tank exploded in the station area, which caused a strong fire to break out. After that, the fire spread throughout the building, and unfortunately, four local citizens lost their lives.

The public and social media users are expressing deep sorrow over this incident. Many support the timely measures taken by the administration and positively evaluate the prompt and transparent implementation of financial and medical aid.

Currently, relevant authorities are conducting a special investigation into the exact causes of the incident and whether safety requirements were followed. Experts and law enforcement agencies are preparing technical conclusions regarding the event.

To prevent such cases in the future, all fuel filling stations will be inspected for compliance with safety standards and fire protection systems. Experts emphasize that technical maintenance at fuel storage and sale points must be carried out periodically.
