An assistant judge of the Dustlik Inerdistrict Court for Civil Cases of the Jizzakh region was detained with a bribe.
According to the information, he won the trust of a woman living in the Mirzachul district and demanded 300 US dollars in exchange for accelerating the divorce process with his spouse and helping with the division of property.
During an operational event conducted by employees of the State Security Service and the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, the assistant judge was caught with material evidence while receiving a bribe in his office.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 168, Part 3, Clause "v" and Article 211, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of detention has been applied. Investigative actions are underway.
