In the Urgench district of the Khorezm region, on September 23, a road traffic accident occurred, once again highlighting the importance of human life and road safety. According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident took place at the 8th kilometer of the D-218 road.
According to detailed information, a “Cobalt” car driven by a 20-year-old driver collided with a scooter that was crossing the road from left to right. As a result of the collision, the scooter driver died at the scene. Preliminary investigative actions are being conducted by the Urgench district investigation department.
This incident demonstrated how crucial it is to strictly follow traffic rules. It should be noted that starting October 1, a driving license will be required in Uzbekistan to operate mopeds and scooters. Therefore, all drivers are urged to be careful and strictly follow road regulations.
