Matiz Hits and Runs School Student in Tashkent

In Tashkent’s Mirzo Ulugbek district, a schoolgirl was hit by a Matiz vehicle, with the driver fleeing the scene. The incident was reported by the victim’s mother.

According to the family, the incident occurred on the morning of November 14 at around 8:15 a.m. near Family Market in the Ahmad Yugnakiy neighborhood. The girl complained of shoulder pain.

Footage from surveillance cameras showed the Matiz vehicle driving in the narrow neighborhood road and hitting the schoolgirl. Despite having enough space on the left, the driver carelessly struck the girl.

Following the collision, the car slowed down briefly, but the driver did not stop or assist the child, fleeing the scene. The girl managed to stand up and continue on her way to school.
