NAPP fines Semurg Insurance 24.5 million soums

The National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) fined the insurance company Semurg Insurance 24.5 million soums. This was reported by kursiv.uz.reports.

This is not the first financial sanction imposed by NAPP on this insurer: in October this year, Semurg Insurance was also fined 31.5 million soums.

Semurg Insurance has been operating in the insurance market since spring 2020. As of December 29, the company’s charter capital amounted to 45 billion soums.

The company currently provides services in auto insurance, property insurance, and cargo insurance. In 2023, Semurg Insurance ranked 30th among insurers in Uzbekistan, with assets of 84 billion soums at the time.
