New Year’s Eve is not only a holiday, but also a very profitable season for some. In particular, performing as Santa Claus during this period becomes one of the services that brings in good income. Parents rushing to get ready for the celebration want to come with a ready-made script and characters to bring joy to children.
The most common option is to invite Santa Claus without the Snow Maiden. In this case, the program is relatively simpler, and gifts are not included in the price. Parents prepare them in advance and place them in Santa’s bag. Typically, such a service costs around 1 million UZS. However, by the night of December 31, demand rises sharply and the price can increase to 4–5 million UZS.
A program featuring Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden together is even more lively and engaging. With two characters involved, there is more stage action and more active interaction with children. If the roles are performed by professional actors, the service price increases further: it usually starts from 1.5 million UZS and is offered at higher rates as well.
The most interesting part is the income. If one performance is valued at an average of 1–1.5 million UZS, it’s possible to complete 8–10 orders over December 30–31. This way, in just 1–2 days, there is a chance to earn up to 12–15 million UZS in net profit.
In conclusion, being Santa Claus on New Year’s Eve is a seasonal job that brings not only a festive mood but also a solid amount of money.
