Former Russia national team footballer Andrey Arshavin shared an unexpected opinion about striker Harry Kane. He said he does not consider Kane the best forward in modern football. This is reported by euro-football.rureports.
In his ranking, Arshavin placed Erling Haaland higher and noted that Kane’s scoring output surprises him. The former player said he doesn’t see the clear individual qualities typical of great goal scorers in the English striker, which is why Kane scoring so many goals is unexpected for him.
“I don’t like Kane at all; Haaland is better. I’m surprised how Kane is scoring so many goals. He’s a big player, but what exactly are his strengths? I can’t say he beats opponents or has super speed. The fact that he reached this level is a discovery for me,” Arshavin said on Fonbet’s YouTube channel.
This season, Kane has played 15 Bundesliga matches, scored 19 goals and provided 3 assists.
