A new cooperation procedure has been introduced in Uzbekistan, allowing employers to cover students’ education costs and hire them after they graduate. The Cabinet of Ministers approved a cooperation mechanism between higher education institutions, students, and companies.
The new procedure applies to bachelor’s students starting from the 2nd year. A company can sponsor a student by paying their tuition contract and then provide employment after graduation. For this, a tripartite agreement is signed between the student, the university, and the заказчик company.
As заказчики, ministries and agencies may participate, as well as companies with more than 50 employees or organizations with an investment project worth at least $1 million.
To participate, a student must submit an electronic application to their university by September 20 and attach a certificate of academic performance. The minimum GPA requirement is 3.
The selection process will be conducted in interview format until October 15. The decisive criterion is the conclusion of the company representative. Students who sign the agreement and successfully complete their studies will be hired by the заказчик company.
