Semurg Insurance’s license temporarily suspended

The National Agency of Perspective Projects (NAPP) announced that Semurg Insurance’s license has been temporarily suspended starting from January 19.

The regulator’s decision was made under the laws “On Insurance Activity” and “On Licensing”. Until the license is reinstated, the company is prohibited from signing new insurance contracts and extending existing ones.

At the same time, Semurg Insurance must continue to fulfill all obligations under previously issued insurance and reinsurance contracts.

NAPP recommended that customers refrain from entering into insurance contracts with Semurg Insurance until the circumstances that led to the suspension are eliminated.
