Another road traffic accident involving a passenger bus traveling on an intercity route occurred in Navoi Region. The driver lost control, crossed into the oncoming lane, and the bus overturned as a result. This was reported by podrobno.uz reports .
According to the regional Road Traffic Safety Department, the incident happened on January 17 at 09:00 (Tashkent time) at the 189th kilometer of the A-379 international highway on the “Navoi — Uchquduq” route.
As a result of the crash, two people were injured and hospitalized at the Zarafshan City Central Hospital.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety rules). Investigative actions are underway.
We remind you that on January 5, a bus carrying 47 passengers also overturned in Navoi Region. At that time, the consequences were severe: two people died at the scene, and nine others sustained injuries of varying severity.
