
At the third Asian Youth Games held in Bahrain, the Uzbekistan national team won a total of 81 medals. Of these, 37 were gold, 16 silver, and 28 bronze.
This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan. In total, 77 athletes participated, including 42 boys and 35 girls, who won medals.
Among the double gold medalists are weightlifters Marjona Abdumutalova, Dilnura Kholdorova, and Munisbek Davletov. Uzbekistan’s track and field athlete Shodiyona Rahmonova brought home two bronze medals.
As the youngest medalists, judokas Alina Kolyucheva and Dilafruz Boltaboyeva, born in 2010, stepped onto the podium.
