Former Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne has returned to Italy after his spell in North America. The experienced forward, who played for Canada’s Toronto, has not yet been able to immediately find a new team and is currently without a club. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Still, the 34-year-old has not lost hope. Judging by his social media posts, he is training regularly in the gym to keep his fitness at a high level. In one of his latest photos, Insigne also added phrases meaning “I never give up” and “I always believe.”
As a reminder, Insigne played for Napoli from 2009 to 2022. He made 54 appearances for the Italy national team and became a European champion with the squad in 2021.
