In the final minutes of the second half, Jean-Philippe Krasso could have strengthened Paris's lead, but his shot hit the crossbar. Near the end of the match, Tibo de Smet was sent off, but despite Nice remaining in the majority, they did not have time to change the score.
As a result, Paris left Nice behind with a 1:0 victory and climbed to 14th place in the tournament table.
