The SIM KIDS safe project for children has been officially launched in Almaty
In the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, the innovative SIM KIDS project, which ensures safe and controlled internet use for children, has been officially implemented. The new SIM card can be connected via TELE2 and ALTEL mobile operators.

SIM KIDS is a specially designed SIM card for children, whose main purpose is to protect young people from various harmful content on the internet and to give parents the ability to monitor their children's online activity. According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, this innovation will become a new stage in ensuring safety in the lives of young people.

Through the new SIM card, parents can monitor online which applications their children use and which websites they visit. Additionally, SIM KIDS automatically blocks harmful content and allows parents to contact the child even in silent mode. Special filters and monitoring ensure constant control over the moral well-being of children.

According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, the SIM KIDS project has successfully passed trials and is now available to all parents. The project was developed by the order of the General Prosecutor as part of the state's comprehensive measures to protect minors from harmful, destructive influences, violence, and to prevent cases of suicide on the internet.

It should be noted that the 2023–2025 program is aimed at ensuring the rights and welfare of children and protecting them from possible negative factors in the online environment.

Conclusion:
SIM KIDS is an important step towards creating a safe internet environment for children and parents. The new SIM card will undoubtedly play an important role in enhancing digital security for young people and safeguarding the future of children.
