"Change password" instead of "o'ron password"?

In July 2025, the Terminology Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers approved Uzbek equivalents of 40 foreign words. One of them is the replacement of the widely used word "password" with "o'ron."
The new term was first used in public services, including the Electronic Digital Signature system. As a result, instead of the phrase "change password," the phrase "o'ron password" appeared. This leads to misunderstandings and ridiculous situations among many users.
Network users react differently to this change. Some perceive this movement as an attempt to develop language, while others say that the new term has become incomprehensible to ordinary people.
