The top three leaders in the global smartphone market for 2025 have been announced

According to a new report by the research company Omdia, the top three leaders in the global smartphone market for 2025 have clearly formed: Apple is at the top, followed by Samsung, and Xiaomi is in third place. In short, the competition is fierce, but leadership has not passed from hand to hand.
The report states that by the end of 2025, Apple held the top spot in the global market with a 19% share. Samsung is also a very close pursuer with an indicator of about 19 percent. Xiaomi secured third place with a 13% stake. That is, the above two "giants" are fighting almost equally, while Xiaomi is significantly maintaining its position.
The top 10 also includes a number of other large brands: Vivo, Oppo, Transsion, Honor, Lenovo, Huawei, and Realme. The expansion of competition in the market is also evident in the fact that not only the "three big names," but also each company in the top ten is operating with a separate strategy for its audience.
It was also noted that the overall delivery rate of leading companies increased by 7 percent. The biggest leap was observed at Honor: the company's delivery volume increased by 11%. Such growth is usually not dependent on one factor - if you add the model lineup, pricing policy, market penetration speed, and marketing - you get the result.
Another interesting aspect: the global smartphone market grew by 2% over the past year. Meanwhile, analysts had previously predicted that the market could shrink by 7%. So, it's too early to say that the market will "die" - people still won't give up smartphones, they're just becoming smarter in their choices.
