YouTube launched automatic Russian dubbing

YouTube video hosting has now introduced the automatic dubbing feature in Russian as well. According to Ferra's report, this new tool operates based on Gemini technology.

Now viewers can watch foreign bloggers’ videos with Russian voice translation. Previously, this feature was only available in English.

The main goal of the technology is to reduce language barriers and provide content creators with the opportunity to increase their global audience. The feature began to roll out to the general public in the second half of 2025, but its testing had already started back in 2023 with popular YouTube bloggers.
