On the Roblox gaming platform, users will now be required to verify their age in order to write in chats. This was announced by the service’s CEO David Baszucki in a video message posted on Roblox’s official account. This was reported by kursiv.uz. reports .
According to him, more than half of users in New Zealand and Australia have already passed verification, and tens of millions of players worldwide have confirmed their details. The goal of the update is to make in-game communication even safer.
Two age verification methods are being offered: from age 13, upload a photo of a passport or another photo ID document, or complete a check using facial recognition technology.
