The co-founders of Twitter and Pinterest launched the Tangle service

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone and Pinterest co-founder Evan Sharp launched the Tangle app - a new social service focused on a conscious life. The Financial Times reported on the launch of the project, emphasizing the "consciousness" of this application.
The platform is owned by West Co., founded by Stone and Sharp in 2023. The startup attracted $29 million in investments to develop the product.
On the West Co website. Tangle is described as a tool for purposeful life planning: users can record daily events and track relationships that shape personal experiences. The app is currently only available upon invitation.
The service offers to share personal goals and intentions with friends, support each other, and discuss ways to achieve set goals. The developers emphasize that Tangle is not a traditional content feed.
Before launching West Co. Evan Sharp worked for two years at the company of former Apple chief designer Jonathan Ayv. For Biz Stone, the Tangle project became a new stage of entrepreneurial activity after he left Twitter in 2021. At that time, he openly criticized Elon Musk and the changes made to the social network. The West Co. team also included former Twitter and Pinterest employees.
